Innovation Roadmap

The Science, Technology and Innovation Council has developed a roadmap that outlines key elements of Canada’s innovation system:

• attracting and retaining talent;
• supporting world-leading research; and
• transforming discoveries into commercial success.

This “innovation roadmap” illustrates the interconnected and complex nature of the innovative process.  While the innovation system is recognized as a fluid and dynamic process that is not necessarily sequential in nature, the roadmap is depicted in a linear fashion for presentation purposes.
